For best results cosmetically and for longevity, we apply flood coats of stain and/or clear coats in order to obtain optimum saturation, followed by back-brushing for uniformity!
Chinking
We install acrylic chinking over foam backer rod. This process completes and enhances a log home cosmetically yet at the same time provides protection from draftiness, moisture and insect penetration. Product is available in a variety of custom colors and comes with a warranty!
High Pressure Washing
This process is a must before applying any new finishes. In most cases, old existing failing finishes, dirt and mold can be removed as well as brightened by applying oxalic acid treatment to dark areas!
Media Blasting
This process is the absolute way to remove any existing finishes and the result is a raw, clean, new surface to apply fresh stains, clear coats and paints. Even with very old log homes, we can achieve a new look!
